Hello
I want to soundproof the party walls in my 1950's built mid terraced house. The noise problem isn't severe its just everyday noise such as the TV etc bleeding through a thin party wall. I was thinking of using the M20 panels. However the wall are coverd in very thick artex. Being of 50's origin the artex probably contains asbestos so I would rather not remove it if at all possible. I am ok to stick the M20 panels directly onto the artex or will this compromise their effectivness. I intend to cover the panels with 2 layers of high density plasterboard. Any advice would be most welcome.
Thanks
Rob

If the Artexed walls are smooth the M20AD panels can be glued directly to them but if it is a textured surface, the only solution you can consider is our Studio Wall System that will take up about 5.5 inches. Click the following link for more information on this system
