Can Acousticel M20 be painted and how thick is it please?

Can your Acousticel M20 this be cut AND painted if needed? Also, there seems to be a bit of confusion in my mind as to the thickness of ACOUSTICEL M20 - it says in one place that it's 20mm thick, and in another of it "being 50mm-2in- thick" What is the thickness, please?

The Acousticel M20AD is a black recycled rubber sound insulation 20mm thick.

When installed onto a wall with two layers of 12.5mm Acoustic Plasterboard on top the total thicknes will be nominally 45mm or just under 2 inches. Although it will not be possible to paint the M20AD when installed, it will be possible to paint the plasterboard of course.

It is possible to cut the M20AD panels as required with either a sharp Stanley type knife or a jigsaw.
