Compressor noise
Hi all and thanks for reading my message. At the end of my garden is a supermarket cold store. To keep it chilled a compressor runs 24/7. The distance from the house is 20 meters. The noise level can be heard in the house with the windows closed, but it is only a slight sound. The main noise is when sitting in the garden. The compressor stops and starts every so often. I will be speaking with the owner and will offer, at my expense, to build an enclosure around this unit. If this fails I will need to install at the end of my garden some large fencing to reduce the noise. This is where I need help in choosing the best materials for both jobs. Also, has anybody else has to deal with a similar noise?

Hi there,
The best thing is to tackle the noise at source by building an enclosure around it.
