sad I’m frustrated

How can I muffle the sound from our combi boiler - bedroom is directly above

Can I soundproof my boiler which is in the kitchen (encased in a kitchen unit, open at the top) and is directly under my bedroom. Boiler is only 3 yrs old so not an old clanker, but just want to dull the noise

    happy I’m confident
It is unlikely you will be able to efficiently silence the noise from the boiler, particularly at night but some benefit may be gained by installing a sound absorbing product around the boiler and fixed to the ceiling immediately above such as our 32mm SA25FFB6. This is a black, film faced sound absorbing foam with a sound barrier layer sandwiched within it so will give the best results. It is available in sheet size 1200 x 900mm at the current price of £38.81 / sheet and the adhesive for fixing it is our Sta-Put aerosol contact adhesive @ £7.50/can. Delivery and VAT are charged in addition. If you email tech@soundservice.co.uk with the total quantity of foam required we will be pleased to give you our best price to supply and deliver your requirements along with enough adhesive.
