How can I reduce traffic noise through a window

I'm looking for a product that can control traffic noise from a bedroom window. Its next to a very busy road about 1 metre away.

I'm hoping the product is easy to install and is removable as it's a temporary residence. Above all the effectiveness is very important.

Please could you recommend a product that would suit my situation the best?
