Hi, I'm planning to install 3 layers of SBM5 and Quietfloor Plus on the chipboard floor (total about 40 square meters) in my flat (maisonette, first floor) to block very annoying tv/talk noise from the neighbours below. Then new carpets will be installed by a professional fitter. I've couple of questions regarding this project:
1. can I nail 3 layers of SBM5? What would be the advantage of using adhesive (I would rather try to avoid using adhesive).
2. I think there is enough space in front of my flat for the wooden pallet to sit there, however I'll be alone while receiving the delivery. How the pallet is going to be removed from the van? Is there some kind of machinery attached to the van to do this? Once the pallet is on the pavement in front of my flat then I can move all panels to my flat, one by one.
3. Is this possible to arrange the delivery for a particular day (I live in Stevenage Hertfordshire) or the driver to call my mobile an hour or so before the delivery? If a particular date can be arranged then I could take one day off from my work and make sure I won't miss the delivery.
4. What would be delivery cost for this project?
Thank you for your help, Mike.

1. You can most certainly nail the SBM5 down if preferred and will make removal easier if required at a later date.
2. The pallet will be taken off the truck using a tail lift and pallet truck and the driver will place the pallet as close to your front door as possible.
3. You can either have the consignment despatched on our Next Day Service or the cheaper Economy Service that takes longer. However, with the Economy delivery, we offer a 'book-in' service free of charge and the carrier will contact you to arrange with you the best day for delivery.
4. If supplied and delivered in one lot they would be delivered carriage paid by us on two pallets. A Next Day delivery would carry a £25.00 surcharge plus VAT.
