Noisy cellist

I am a cellist and I practice at home in a bedroom. I would like some ideas for cutting down the noise levels in my 130 year old semi please?

    The ceiling and floor will have to be upgraded along with our Studio Wall System on the party wall followed by the installation of suitable sound absorption within the room.

    To upgrade the ceiling, 100mm of AMW100 should be installed between the joists and a double layer of 12.5mm Acoustic Plasterboard screwed to the underside of the joists with our SoundBlocker Membrane sandwiched between the two layers. AMW100 should also be installed beneath the floorboards with SoundBlocker Membrane across the top of the joists before replacing the floorboards unless it is a concrete floor. Once the floor and ceiling have been treated, our Studio Wall System can be applied to the party wall. Click the following linkf for more information on this
