Noisy roof

I have a new static home with tree branches that overhang, when it rains the heavy plops of water bang and wake us. The roof is a thin tin material with a small amount of silver backed insulation and the ceiling is made of 5mm board, the space between the two is 300mm at the apex tapering down to 75mm; have you a product that would reduce the noise?

This is a new one on us and I suspect that at night, you will not be able to achieve the level of soundproofing you would prefer. If you have insulation within the ceiling void this should be of a mineral wool type to give both thermal and acoustic insulation. Then ad a double layer of high density 15mm plasterboard to the ceiling with our 1mm SOundBlocker Membrane sandwiched between the layers.

However, it may be easier and cheaper to simply lop the branches causing the problem
