Question on using a slab to prevent Acoustic noise from speaker
Hi,
I've recently moved into a new flat and I have a problem with the "noise" (Mainly bass) coming from my floor standing speakers permeating through the floor to my neighbours downstairs. this was never an issue in my old flat but this one seems to have poor insulation between floors.
As I only rent the flat I can't install new flooring but I have been recommended to use a sound proofing panel or slab to reduce the amount transmitted through floor.
Can you provide me more details on this and what I should/could buy?
Thanks in advance
Stuart

If the speakers are decoupled from the floor it will help reduce the direct sound transmission through the floor that is being experienced at present. Depending on the size of your speakers we can offer vibration isolation that will help. These are our Speaker Isolators or Music Isomat. Click on the following link to access more information on these.

Thanks for sending ths on. The dimensions of my speakers are: 250mm wide and 300mm deep. (10" x 12")
The isomat seems to large. Could I use the speaker isolaters and use two pads each for the speakers?
Thanks

Yes, although the Speaker Isolators are longer than the depth of your speakers, they are universal and you have to use two pads for each speaker as can be seen on the product web page. Click the following link to view
