I live in a ground floor maisonette and the neighbour upstairs is driving me mad. I can hear him walking about and moving things,I can hear his conversations. I think he has hard floors.
The problem is most annoying in the living room, Is there a reasonably cheap solution without spending thousands I could consider?

Hi there,
It's always easier to treat floors than ceilings but we assume this is not an option. In order to treat both the footfall noise and the airborne noise we would suggest you use this system http://www.keepitquiet.co.uk/studio-c...
Any good handyman or builder could install this or we can offer that service in the London area.

What sort of figure are we looking at including installation?
I appreciate it depends on room size, but an average example? -
