I am looking for a way to reduce piano sound.
I live in rental flat, ground floor. Now I have claim from topstair family. I cannot change the wall and floor, because of rental.
However, I don't know which material is what I should use.
Please give me advice. Or is it possible your engineer can come to see my place?

Thank you for your enquiry but if you live in a rented property, I think it is unlikely you can do much to reduce the sound of piano music being heard above your flat. Normally it would entail a lot of work that would involve removal of the existing ceiling and this could not be done without the written approval of your Landlord. Reverberation of the music within the room could be reduced and would help reduce the noise levels above. The best way to go about this is to ensure there is a lot of sound absorbing products within the room such as deep pile carpets, fabric covered upholstery and heavy drapes at windows. That sort of thing. Also mounting the piano onto a resiliently mounted base might help. For this I suggest using our 20mm Anti-Vibration pads with a panel of flooring on top to support the feet of the piano. Click the following link for more info on this
