Spray adhesive questions

i wonder if someone can advise me on a few things regarding Echosorption Plus tiles and Staput spray adhesive.

Having recently fitted the tiles to the room of a meeting room i am finding that two of the tiles keep falling down. I believe this maybe due to the uneven nature of the ceiling surface at one end of the room.

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the adhesive in conjunction with something stronger, eg No More Nails? my concern is that i will either A) damage the tiles, or, B) create some kind of lethal combination of adhesive.

Please forgive me for my ignorance, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

  • Echosorption Tiles have to be glued over the entire surface and properly bonded to the substrate by even pressure over the entire tile surface using the flat of the hand. If the substrate is not even, failure of the bond can occur and in these cases, a thicker contact adhesive would be required such as out of a tin or cartridge. The thicker adhesive will compensate for any unevenness and the tiles should remain in position.
