Thin wall systems

Hi

The new Quietpanel appears to be easier and quicker to install and quite a bit thinner than the M20AD system. I see the M20AD can reduce up to 87% of sound. What would your be opinion be in comparison to the Quietpanel. I have a thin klinkerblock rendered party wall between my property and next door and will be installing one your thin systems.

I know low frequency and impact noises are hard to eradicate, but understand these two systems should help block out, talking etc.

Also can adhesive be applied to the Quietpanel as part of the fixing process (something like no-nails).

QuietPanel has been introduced as a thinner alternative to our popular recycled M20AD Thin Wall System to help those that have a noise problem but with very little space to address it.

It has to be understood that the thinner the system the less effective it will be at stopping noise, the optimum system being our Studio Wall System that takes up just under 150mm of space. Having said that, the QuietPanel system has performed well when independently tested, as can be seen on the web page and is a lot better than doing nothing at all.

The QuietPanel system has been devised for installation with screws rather than adhesive to give more stability to the wall. We do not know of adhesive being used in its place so regret we cannot answer your question regarding that.
